Interested in working with us?

We are looking for curious, ambitious scientists with the gumption to tackle hard problems and understand how chromosome ends are replicated, protected, and maintained.

The Lim Lab combines biochemistry, structural biology, single-molecule approaches, and cell biology to uncover mechanisms of human telomere biology and DNA replication.

Postdoctoral researchers

We welcome highly motivated researchers interested in telomere biology, DNA replication, structural biology, biochemistry, cryo-EM, long-read sequencing, and single-molecule biophysics. Candidates should send a CV, a brief description of research interests and motivation for joining the lab, and contact information for three references.

Graduate students

Graduate students interested in joining the Lim Lab should apply through an appropriate UW–Madison graduate program. We are faculty trainers for the IPiB, Biophysics, Genetics, and CMB programs.

Undergraduate researchers

We welcome motivated UW–Madison undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, and telomere research. Please include your major and year, CV, research interests, relevant experience, and expected availability when contacting us.
